decka® Quality socksのシグネチャープロダクトの1stコレクション。一般的なソックスの約5倍の太さの糸を希少な機械で編み立ており、耐久性を持たせながら、締め付けない優しい履き心地を追求した。

decka Quality socks' signature products. They are knitted on rare machines using yarn that is about five times thicker than that of regular socks, pursuing a gentle and comfortable fit without tightness while ensuring durability.

スケーターが一つのカルチャーとして成熟した8 0 年代。7 0 年代に主流だった1 9 インチのハイソックスに変わり普及していったミドル丈のスケーターソックス。8 0 年代の西海岸の雰囲気に足された品質が程よい違和感を演出している。

The 80s, when skaters matured as a culture. Skater socks of mid-length that became popular, replacing the 19-inch high socks that were mainstream in the 70s. The quality added to the ambiance of the West Coast in the 80s creates a comfortable sense of dissonance.

It is often considered technically difficult to cleanly create stripes in low-gauge socks, but by employing a specialized technique, we have managed to knit beautiful stripes.

ナイロンの糸で可能な限りリアルなファーの質感を追求したが、普通に編むと染色が均一すぎてどこか不自然に思えた。そこで異なる配色の糸を組み合わせ、わずかなグラデーションをつくることで自然な風合いを再現することにした。

We aimed to achieve the most realistic fur-like texture possible using nylon yarn, but when knitted normally, the uniform dyeing made the surface look somewhat unnatural. By combining yarns in different shades and adding a subtle gradation, we were able to recreate a more natural depth.

5本指の靴下のデザインを考え始めた。しかし、ただ普通の5本指の靴下を作るのも違うと思い、色々と考えているうちに猿の足の様なデザインの靴下が出来上がった。

I started thinking about the design of five-toe socks. However, I felt it would be meaningless to just make ordinary ones, and as I explored different ideas, I ended up creating socks that looked like monkey feet.
